I think you definitely solved the problem. Now the samples are recognized exactly as 30'' tracks on the playlist (you can easily recognize them with Orange Squeeze) and they are deleted after a while. Only once, one sample played, I don't know what was different. The best part of it, you can now disable samples totally from the Blender, by adding "min 40 second" duration rule.
