Newbie when it comes to squeezelite. I've posted before about using it and having it "clash" with my squeezeplay install (which I use for controlling other SB hardware players). As answered, this is because the computer has a single Mac address and both squeezeplay and squeezelite are treated as the same Mac address player (which is of course a problem). The suggestion was to give squeezelite a different Mac address (which evidently one can do in the settings). I guess I'm confused as I always thought that if I made up a Mac address that it could be the same as some other SB device or other device and cause problems. Is this not true? What am I missing about this. I'd like to have both squeezelite and squeezeplay on the same windows machine at the end of this. thanks!
