Triode, v2.3.6 is still showing buffer problems when streaming across synchronised clients (with LMS 7.7.3 running on Ubuntu 13.10 64-bit). Streaming from a single device is absolutely fine, but as soon as I turn on synchronisation on another client, the debug log shows the "rate x / 44100" dropping very rapidly until a forced track skip is effected...
Is there anything that can be done? It's definitely not a bandwidth issue with my environment! The plugin used to work fine running on an arm-hf Debian Raspberry Pi LMS rig...there's definitely something fishy going on with 64-bit Linux. If you don't want to push changes globally for everyone using the plugin, can you instruct me how I can modify the plugin on my system to increase the "setsockopt" value, or whatever else is required to fix this? Someone in another thread (pre- 2.3.0) did this with a hex editor to fix the problem but I've had no joy thus far... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rod_hull's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53725 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
