I haven't tested CDplayer with 7.8.1. The plugin needs cdda2wav to work as it handles all CD drive actions - you need a copy of cdda2wav (or possibly icedax see http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?47288-Announce-CDplayer-plugin&p=727519&viewfull=1#post727519 ) working wth a USB CD drive .
