Hi,

please check this out...
    
- stop the server
- go (with the administrative User) to the root of your LMS
  installation
- change the folder permissions (rw) recursive to the path where lms
  is hosted to the user that starts lms
- start lms / the whole Winblows 
  

These run as admin is always a workaround and in fact there can only two
reasons why this have to be - folder permissions or registry
permissions.
I had no winblows anymore so i cant figure it out what setting is needed
- please also check the reg permissions under hlkm\sowarte\syswow and so
on.
Dont not the exactly path / see above dont know if there is anything in
it - its just a tipp from an MCSE who solves much of the "must be run as
a admin" things in his office...
