The log has already shown that LMS is getting as far as starting transcoding processes. The only difference using a file vs iPlayer plugin (which has stripped Flash protocol rtmp and is provding a AAC stream) as source. The iPlayer plugin as a source does seem to be working because the AAC stream is being provided to Touch and Squeezelite without transcoding. What OP is seeing wrt to faad and flac is the same as LMS. OP and LMS can search the directory, find the executables and they seem OK (i.e.permissions OK) - however the executables don't seem to run. Assuming there is no finger trouble somewhere, the only explanation I can think of is bizarre, could the name of the file "faad" in the directory is somehow encoded differently (e.g. hidden char using backspace CTRL-H in the name) compared to the name when typed. To see if this is the case - can you get the shell to auto-complete the file names when executiing by using the tab key (e.g. type in /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/Bin/arm-linux/f and then press tab (nothing should happen) and press "a" and tab again auto complete should add "aad " and then add argument "-?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101894 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
