Brilliant! Sorry, I had completely missed the National Radio Schedule
menu item in the "extras" list.  Put it at the top for us bozos...

I have been experimenting.  I was getting a lot of drop-outs and
rebuffering on the normal settings so have been trying WMA on and off on
speech radio as it seemed to be more consistent.  At the time of writing
it was on WMA only which probably explained the lack of program
material.

I will try using Extras - National Radio Schedule for the time being and
see if I get the same problem with buffering.  All other radio stations
and Spotify (Triode's app) work fine so it has definitely been a BBC
problem.
