I have a tagging-related problem and not quite sure what it is I am doing wrong. Maybe you can help me ...
For artists, I use multiple tagging. An example that works, is Led Zeppelin. I tag *album artist* as -Led Zeppelin- and *artist *as -Robert Plant\\Jimmy Page\\John Paul Jones\\John Bonham-. The result in MP3 Tag: 16369 iPeng shows all these artists per track and in the artist list, I find entries for all the above artists/album artists with all the albums they performed on. However, when I tried to do the same with my Queen albums yesterday, it did not work. For example their third best-of album: I tagged *album artist* as -Queen -and *artist *as -Freddy Mercury\\Brian May\\John Deacon\\Roger Taylor\\David Bowie-. The result in MP3 Tag: 16370 Queen still appears in the artist list. However, Freddy Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor are displayed by iPeng as artists, when I sort by album (and also when the album plays), but when I sort by artist, they do not appear in the list. With one - in my opinion strange - exception: David Bowie. I have other albums by him and under his name, the Queen album is listed: 16371 Does anybody have any idea, what is going on? +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: screen_bowie.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=16371| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ vanye's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=47848 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
