Hello, everyone. This is my first post here on the Squeezebox forums.
I am the owner of a Voco V-Zone music player, as well as a Spotify
Premium user. The V-Zone player is based on the Squeezebox architecture
and works with LMS via the MyVOCOnet plugin, which is installed from the
MyVOCO DEV plugin repository. I am currently running LMS v7.8.0 on a
Windows XP machine, and have installed the Triode Spotify plugin v2.3.8
to see if it would possibly work with my V-Zone. As you may have
guessed, it does not. I can do everything but actually stream music --
that is, I can log in to my account, see artwork, search, etc. However
if I try to play a song, I get nothing. I know that this is to be
expected because the plugin only supports specific Squeezebox players.
However, I wonder if it would be possible to support this player with
some sort of programming change. Being a retired software engineer, I
couldn't help but start poking around in the Spotify plugin perl scripts
and have experimented with some code changes without much success.
