I'll have a look. I think I know how it happens, the dreaded changed rotation handling in iOS 8 is hard to get compatible with iOS 7... Maybe some conditional code doesn't get executed correctly. What you see is what happens if the iOS 8 rotation handling code gets executed on iOS 7. The caching bug is supposed to be fixed in iOS 8.1, in any case iPeng 8.0.3 now clears the cache manually. We are talking about an almost unused secondary cache managed by iOS, not iPeng's own cache which is much smaller.
