Nitro is still not public so no timescale for getting the Extras functionality back. With Nitro there is a possibility of replacing the feeds functionality - pity the poor owners of Sony and Toshiba TVs whose iPlayer functionality has also been killed with no chance of a firmware update. When Nitro is eventually made public, AFAICT it will be a bit of a mess as my Extra plugin will need a Nitro "key" and the choice will be either to embed a key registered to me (which then may be copied by any user) or get every Extras user to get their own key.
