Could you try to set "Settings->Player Settings-><your iThingy>->Audio->MP3 streaming Methode" in the Web Interface to "Proxied streaming"? Ansteht thing worth trying (maybe first) it to enable "small buffer size" in the "Bitrate limiting" settings for the player in iPeng
