I did some investigative work on my end (dangerous, as I am a
programming novice) but I found that to get things going I needed to
replace "JSON" with "JSON::XS".  I believe there were 4 instances in the
plugin.pm file you provided, starting with line 195.
I am running LMS 7.8 on Ubuntu 10.04.

Getting some errors re: parsing WeatherTomorrow but current conditions
are working as are the sports scores.
