Hi flysurfer Is it normal to sometimes get an error reported when running "Update APT-GET Sources and APT-GET UPGRADE"? This is the last few lines of the log I received recntly:
Configuration file '/etc/rsyslog.conf' ==> Modified (by you or by a script) since installation. ==> Package distributor has shipped an updated version. What would you like to do about it ? Your options are: Y or I : install the package maintainer's version N or O : keep your currently-installed version D : show the differences between the versions Z : start a shell to examine the situation The default action is to keep your current version. *** rsyslog.conf (Y/I/N/O/D/Z) [default=N] ? dpkg: error processing package rsyslog (--configure): EOF on stdin at conffile prompt Errors were encountered while processing: rsyslog E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) Finished UPDATE ENDED - CHECK ABOVE LOG FOR ERRORS I've rebooted & run the command again with the same result, all however appears to be running well. Thanks for this marvellous piece of programming & happy Christmas to all :-) Cheers, Paul ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Paden's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21468 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101856 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
