Yes, this is what I do and when you see 'unknown codec' log it means there is no match found. It is done one a per track basis, instead of general capabilities description at start because for pcm, there is no general rule, it depends on each track. Still, I agree that for format like flac, I could remove the capability from the LMS list if no flac at all exists in the upnp player 'sink' capabilities
