Hello flysurfer. The firmware update is on the M2Tech website. There is an installer for Windows, but the Mac driver only works for OS10.9 so I had to partition my drive and install Mavericks to do the update.
I've seen the posts on the other thread about the HiFace, and thought they were using the original Hiface adapter.
