I installed this plugin recently and all good so far (well almost). Plugin works as expected but are you aware that in the case of software players the name is not retained but instead the MAC address appears in the web interface after the player is switched off. Not really a big issue but thought you might like to know.
Yes, have seen this recently. It's not limited to software players. Now that my kids are walking around with their own battery powered Radio which then shuts down, lying in some corner, I've experienced this behaviour, too.
