We seem to still be discussing something different.  Do you see anything
following the exact sequence I stated, ie: Dynamic Playlist, Random, For
Selected, Top rated songs in genre ?  If not, you may need trackstat.

I'm afraid this is getting lost between us.  

If you start to create a new playlist under SQL Playlist, do you see
'Advanced with rating' near the top?  If not, you need trackstat.  You
can then specify some fixed items and some to be requested from the
user.

If you want to customize you must specify this here.  If not, press next
and change the filename and save it.  Maybe you are seeing something
different from when I try.

When I want to play such things I then use Dynamic Playlist to do so. 
Is that not showing up?

to PC sound.  Minimserver (server) and upplay (control point) to same
amps & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers.  Meridian USB Explorer DAC from PCs
to speakers/headphones.  Wireless Xubuntu 14.04 laptop controls
LMS/upplay via Firefox.   Have a Touch with EDO, and a spare, but don't
use.
