I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.
I uninstalled my previous install of ffmpeg (8.1x) and then downloaded
the static build of ffmpeg 2.5.4 from http://johnvansickle.com/ffmpeg/
I copied the ffmpeg file to /usr/bin and set the properties. This solves
the problem without using any .sh script.
