You may not mean it to be but this really sounds like a complaint about an unofficial, unannounced, alpha plugin provided by someone who doesn't want to engage directly with his (or her) users for reasons that are none of our business. Can I suggest being grateful for what we currently have and if you have a suggestion, wait a while and then ask whether something might be possible in future?

Minimserver (server) & upplay (control point) to same renderers & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones. Wireless Xubuntu 14.04 laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver.
