Hi, Here is a set of gentoo ebuilds for the shairport_plugin:
https://github.com/lmiphay/gentoo.overlay media-sound/shairport_plugin It has been working well for me from: iOS8 iPhone --> LMS 7.9 (squeezebox overlay) --> Squeezebox Radio/Receiver Except I can't get shairport_plugin play to iPeng - no sound (need something in custom convert?) and LMS reports: Slim::Player::Song::open (471) Warning: stream failed to open [airplay://192.168.1.43:8000/stream.wav] Finally there is also an ebuild for the 'vanilla' shairport binary which is useful for comparison purposes (airplay's directly to the computer audio - i.e. not via slimserver).
