Not surprisingly, I do care about the live text - that's why I did it. I particularly like seeing the title/composer/artist of the piece of music that is playing if it is something I don't know, especially on Radio 3. I don't know why the bit rate is only displayed in the Web interface. If you want, it's easy enough to add it to one of the live text display strings (as a plugin option).
