I will likely be using windows although I am interested to play with a Raspberry Pi so may try that out.
My goal is to find a suitable replacement for the music services I use in the event of mysqueezebox.com shutting down. I currently listen to my own music and internet radio streams about 50% of the time and spotify/slacker/pandora the other 50% of the time. While I am confident I can continue to listen to my own music and internet radio without issue I wanted to identify a cost effective and reliable way to continue with the services I enjoy after mysqueezebox.com shuts down. If I could stream the services from a currently supported product like Sonos to my old squeeze devices then that would be fine for me going forward. If the sound quality and the latency were not acceptable then I would look to something else but that is why I had to ask. Airplay would probably provide much of the functionality I am looking for but I was hoping not to rely on my phone as a source since I have music going while I work and I work from home while on the phone quite often. So have you ever streamed music from a line in input on your pc to your squeezeboxes via wavin? Did it sound ok? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ usc95's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59694 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103520 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
