@Squeezemenicely: The default volume of the hifiberry DAC is a little too low. I fixed this in an update, that sets the optimal PCM volume when changing the soundcard on audioplayer tab and you can now adjust this PCM-value manually on Raspberry Settings tab in webinterface (right now only for hifiberry cards).
