Typically, I found this thread some time after I posted a new thread on what appears to be the same issue. (Strange Playback Issue on Max2Play)
I too have mickeymouse playback on one of my 3 Pis for no apparent reason. I am however a complete linux newbie - could some kind person expand on the above in fairly simple language so I can understand what I need to do/ I am trying to get to grips with the command line etc - but it is a fairly steep learning curve.
