Although this thread is expired, I thought i'd add this for anyone else trying to re configure their Squeezebox setup after 5 years and getting stuck like I did.
If you are using a Facebook account with Spotify, the Triode plugin should be configured with your email address and FACEBOOK password, not your "device password" as it states in the Spotify documentation.
