Taking a quick look at the Omni manual it looks as if if you can play LMS music on your tablet/mobile you can get the HK app to send it out via wi-fi, or connect a tablet via bluetooth, but I'm not up to speed with that way of doing things.
There are a number of ways of playing music from LMS on tablets/mobiles (including software UPnP renderers), but I would first try squeezelite on a tablet/pc, or SB Player on Android. I'm sure there are Apple device equivalents. So, find a way to get LMS playing on the device with your controller and the rest should be relatively straightforward. This is mostly outside the scope of this thread, so try posting at http://forums.slimdevices.com/forumdisplay.php?27-Logitech-Media-Server . You need to state precisely what type of device you are using to control your speakers, and what network (wi-fi or bluetooth or whatever....). LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit, 44.1->192kbps. LMS plugin UPnP/DLNA Bridge to MF M1 CLiC (to MF amp & ESLs) & Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers. Minimserver (server) & upplay (control point) to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones. Wireless Xubuntu 15.04 laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver. Have a Touch with EDO, plus spare, but unused. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PasTim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41642 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102496 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
