On Android 5.0+, SB Player has an option to use floating point PCM
output which is a lossless conversion from 24bit audio. However,
internally the Android audio system still isn't fully floating point, so
at some point the floating point PCM will be converted back to 16bit.

Also, from my and other users' testing, when using a USB DAC with
Android the output is locked to 16bit and either 44.1 or 48 Khz.

Basically even though SB Player can send the equivalent of 24/96 audio
in the system, there's no way to pass it through to a DAC that can
handle it.
