On Windows, the hacky way is to copy the content of the zip file into C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\Cache\InstalledPlugins\Plugins\YouTube and restart LMS. Remember to get a API key at https://console.developers.google.com/start. Choose a web key when asked LMS 7.7.2 - 5 radio, 3 Boom, 4 Duet, 1 Touch, 1 SB2.
