Yes, but that's hard to distinguish for the App. I think the way to go here would be to not assign CD tags and just number the tracks sequentially. I can't add an on/off switch for each and every display alternative in iPeng, there are already really a lot of them and there is clearly a use case for showing the discs for some albums.
