Bryn, if you look over on the Qnap forum there are several posts about updating LMS. If you look in the SSODs thread here there are also several posts about updating. I know one can go up to v.7.8.0 without trickery (maybe v.7.8.1 as well). >From memory (so could be dodgy) Download http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/7.8/sc/90ff474/logitechmediaserver-7.8.1-1446451964.tgz Save it in the Public share. Rename it to squeezeboxserver (I think) navigate to ssods and stop the lms. apply the upgrade. start the lms.
