Tbh, Qobuz does not really have more Classical recordings than Google Play Music, at least in my searches I did not find anything they had that was missing in Play Music, on the contrary, Google sometimes had more and better recordings. Of course Google does not offer Lossless, and probably never will, so it's not a real alternative, but the catalogue is great, at least for Classical. No idea about Jazz though...
When you want lossless it gets more complicated. Tidal is terrible, they still have lots of classical stuff in mp3, even if you pay for lossless, and their presentation is completely geared towards "Top-Hits". Deezer is probably better, but they only offer their "Elite" service for Sonos. Stupid move. I also don't really like their presentation that much, but it works. Squeezebox support is even more of a problem...the Deezer Plugin is completely outdated, Tidal is not available at all (only the older Wimp that is dead/replaced by Tidal) and all the other services are in more or less of a state of direpair or not available at all. I just switched over to ChromeCast Audio, and am happy that I can now use most streaming services without problem. It takes some getting used to, but it's actually fairly decent to handle once you get into it. Thanks to Philippe_44 there is also an early version of a "LMS-to-Cast" Plugin that lets you combine the two systems. That's actually pretty neat. It works, but is currently still in Alpha, so not exactly stable. It does not solve the Problem of Qobuz going away, but at least offers more alternatives when it comes to Streaming Support. If Qobuz does find and investor, then I hope they finally start rethinking their strategy and improve the featureset of their apps and website, because they lag behind in almost all respects, which is probably the main reason why they keep on failing. Sound quality is great, whcih is why I have an annual subscription with them, but other services just offer som much more in terms of Playlists, "Radio modes", Recommendations and so on...well, let's see how it goes.
