I have a Synology DS415+ Current DSM version: DSM 5.2-5644 Update 1 I have one Squeezebox Radio which says it supports AAC: Squeezebox Radio can play music that is in the following formats: o MP3 o FLAC o WMA standard o WAV o AIFF o OGG o AAC / M4A o Apple Lossless In addition, the following are automatically converted into supported formats by a transcoding engine that is built into Squeezebox Server: WMA Lossless, Monkey's Audio (.APE).
I also have 3 Raspberry PI B+ with PicorePlayer and Squeezelite v1.6.4 All 4 Players are connected to the LMS and synch'd.
