Many program available through the Extra plugin are only available in the Flashaac/(RTMP) format - typically these are older programs and often lower bit rates. So when using Extra plugin for normal listening and if you listen to programs which are probably pre 2015 - keep the BBCiPlayer setting at the "max" no of formats (i.e. include at least FlashAAC, HLS & DASH).
