The Extension path is correct as the BBCiPlayer plugin is installed by
the Extension plugin so it "borrows" each plugin Settings and
incorporates them into its Settings (which is the Advanced/Plugins
Tabs).

The 1.4.6 plugin works OK on a lot of systems with different setups and
different browsers. The maion question is the problem - is there
something particular to your QNAP or is there something in the latest
version of the plugin that doesn't work with your QNAP - essentially is
the solution a change to the QNAP or a change to theplugin.

Previous "odd" problems have happened with NAS where the version of Perl
is older than 5.14. so I taking that as a starting point.

What version of Perl is on your QNAP ?
Are there any message in server.log during system startup or when trying
to access Settings ?
