I had hoped someone would be able to tell me how to sort out this bad player issue but looks like I'm either in such a minority no one can help or maybe I'm being stupid and missing something really obvious and no one can be bothered to tell me :-)
But if anyone can help me work out why the synology lms has issues with the bad player error.
