Jason. I just reread your original post and realised that the pi was using wi-fi as well.
The wireless IP will be different to the Ethernet. Have you done the SD card, If I think my card is corrupted I write this file to it http://www.alexpage.de/download/usbit/bootsector.img using the usb image tool and then reformat the card using the approved tool https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/ Check with Stefan about the driver for the emotive DAC. I have an Odroid C1+ (this does tie one down to either Max2play or Odroid OS), the rpi2B does allow for a variety of OS, if one wants to play.
