Hi guys,

New user here. Let me start by thanking everyone contributing to
maintaining/improving the Logitech Media Server and the various
plugins.
I was drawn to this and other threads when I was looking for a way to
setup a cost effective multiroom solution.

I have a Raspi, running Max2Play with the LMS 7.9 version and the v2
plugin. I also have a W7 laptop, also running the LMS 7.9 version,
squeezelite as the player.
When I use the CastBridge plugin, in both instances the player on the
Raspi or the W7 laptop (I setup the W version to test and troubleshoot,
goal is to use the Raspi going forward) and the CCA show up in LMS and
sound is being produced to both.

I'm however struggling to get both in sync. Sometimes it seems to work,
only to notice the CCA is out of sync again when playing the next song.
Same issue pops up immediately when skipping to the next song. And
there's no way for me to get them back in sync again (do not synchronize
and re-synchronize, restart the plugin).
I'm getting somewhat better results when the CCA is paired with the W7
player, versus the CCA being paired with the player on the Raspi.

I've deliberately added both devices on the same SSID (I'm running
multiple wireless routers in my house, due to signal issues) for info.
CCA through the Chromecast native app works flawlessly, and the player
on the Raspi and on the W7 work without any hiccups as well when running
in single mode. Router is a Netgear WNDR3700.

Is there any setting you guys can point me to, to fiddle with and
perhaps get both devices in sync and ensure they're being kept in sync
when playing or skipping to the next song?

Many thanks in advance, I'm really hooked on the LMS and it would be
great if I could get this to work with your help!

JP
