So, after playing a bit more with logs created by the plugin, it seems like the stream I'm getting is 64kbps with 22,050 Hz sampling rate :). (I fed the stream link from logs into VLC and checked under "media information". Therefore, my question would be - is it by design, or do I miss the point? Am I the only one moaning here? :)
