Hi Specifically for Michael, but others may be able to jump in.
I'm now using Spotify and I'm interested in Michael's Protocol handler. However it seems to screw up the Plugins section of my squeezebox. Here's how. I have removed (dpkg -i) logitechmedia server and deleted /var/lib/squeezeboxserver. I've then reinstalled (dpkg -i) from the latest nightly. i then launch Firefox, enter my preferences etc, scan the library. I then add Michael's repository, and choose the new Spotify Protocol Handler. I do NOT tick the box to autoupdate plugins. It shows up okay. i then tick the box to update plugins, and it then goes into a spin. 1.0.1 shows up for Spotify Protocol Handler. Tick to update. Restart LMS. reloadpage. 1.0.1 shows a an update and "please restart to update. Rinse and repeat. I can then NEVER get a successful display of the Plugins page, I am always asked to restart LMS. Deleting server.prefs and cache.db doesn't help. I am only getting this problem with the new Spotify Protocol Handler. Any ideas? Ubuntu x64.
