Ok, so if you're playing something through 2 CCAs, then you go to the chromecast controller and remove of the CCAs from the group, will that one stop playing while the other one continues?

But if that's the case, I'm a bit confused why you need the cheat. Unless I misunderstood you in the first quote and you can't remove a CCA from the group while the other one continues playing. I'm thinking that worst case, I can just power off the speakers. But I'm thinking that if I have one of the zones (like bedroom or basement) that wants to play something different, it wouldn't work.
