I have, sadly, managed to reproduce an intermittent problem with sq2u
0.2.7.3. on one of my renderers (the M1 CLiC, as usual).
I have one album that almost completely refuses to play. A log is
attached, as it started and failed to play tracks 1, 2 and 3, when I
gave up. The renderer flashes briefly as it tries and fails to play
each track. In the LMS log, there are three matching errors:

This album plays fine through squeezelite, Touch, and also directly on
the M1 CLiC via minimserver rather than LMS. So it can't be the album
itself can it? But something about the timing or content is causing
sq2u to cause LMS to fail.
Note that I am still using custom-convert to convert from flac to flac,
and the codecs are flc, pcm, mp3.
I have had this problem before, intermittently, and usually changing
tracks manually a few times and then back has sorted it. This album
seems to cause more problems than others.

LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi box, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit,
44.1->192kbps.
LMS plugin UPnP/DLNA Bridge to MF M1 CLiC (to 405/2 amp & ESLs) &
Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers.
Alternatively Minimserver & Upplay to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC
renderers.
Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to PC speakers/headphones.
Wireless Xubuntu 15.10 laptop firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with
Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver.
Also a Touch with EDO, plus spare, unused.
