Fired up my Vortexbox this morning, ready to try Philippe's dev version only to be greeted with "Plugin updates are available (Chromecast bridge)".
Over to the plugins page where it said that Chromecast bridge (v0.2.1.0) was available. So, into Putty and systemctl stop squeezeboxserver, then deleted libssl.so and libcrypto.so from /usr/lib64, then systemctl start squeezeboxserver. Into the gui, Settings / Plugins and installed Chromecast bridge (v0.2.1.0), set it to use squeeze-2-cast-x86-64-static , click apply and away it went ! Gold star for Philippe ! Thank you.
