I cannot say for sure, but my guess would be that YouTube offers a way
to filter who is allowed to use an API Key (for an integration of
YouTube video in your own website, for example, you can decide that only
your site is allowed to use it). Without such a filter, anybody with
that key can do request to the YouTube API using it - not a big deal in
our case
