Ensure you are using the latest OSX version 1.8.4-737. It includes several fixes for the portaudio library crashing when the audio device "disappears" If sl still crashes disable squeezelite in launchctl and run it manually from a terminal with the options you are using in the squeezelite.plist and also enable debug and send the output to a logfile with -f. /opt/squeezelite/bin/squeezelite (options from plist) -d all=debug -f logfile Switch inputs on the receiver until it crashes, then compress the logfile and post it here.
