The Touch completely crashes and reboots during occasional Spotify playlist changes. For example, yesterday, I was listing to a DSTM-generated Spotify playlist, and I decided to listen to some other album via Spotify. When I selected the album for playback, the Touch crashed. This happens occasionally when I play Spotify music, and only happens on changing the playlist from what's playing to something else.
Unfortunately this is an issue which I've seen happening a lot when switching Spotify tracks. I'm not sure whether it's related to changing track while it's still buffering or something. But very reproducible. Unfortunately to fix this we'd most likely need to update the player firmware. Which is almost certain not to happen...
Would you still see the crashes if you enabled the "always use helper..." option in th SPH plugin? No real solution in many cases but it should support my claim.
