It appears it is now fixed. I did not do anything and I am no longer getting the message that I have to re-start LMS because of Smart Mix Pluggin update..... Anyway thanks to whoever fixed this!
I released an "update" which wouldn't do anything but uninstall itself. If you had automatic updates enabled this should have done the trick.
