have been enjoying DSTM since SmartMix died, and tried LastMix as well, but eventually stopped using as i don't have a lastFM account.
You don't need a Last.fm account.
recently DSTM has stopped working. it appears to be properly installed and enabled, but when an album or playlist ends, nothing happens. i've tried updating LMS, currently using 7.9.0 - 1470912157, on a mac running El Capitain. Michael- any thoughts about what might be happening?
You're running an outdated LMS. There was a bug in DSTM which could cause the behaviour you're mentioning. I fixed that last week.
