Among the lists I have created myself, hence the ones I can control the length for myself, the longest one is approx 1500 tracks. It's a list with most of the top40 hits for the 90s, and there are quite many ;). You just put that on random from time to time and with that amount of songs you always get a very different mix of songs. A limitation of 500 is not a problem in itself, because you never have time to listen to 500 tracks before listening to another list.
