Similar thing here. Running 7.9.0 - 1471849136 on Mac. Playing only local tracks. DSTM set to "Random songs". If I add a single track to the playlist, it will stop playing halfway through, and DSTM will appear in the playlist with "Song mix", but no songs. It just stops.
If I have two tracks in the playlist, the second track will start halfway through the first track, and Song Mix will appear in the playlist, and then work correctly.
